If you have a loved one in a Senior Community, be sure to check the activity schedule so that you can be part of all the celebrations!
Of course, it is always nice to get out and about, so if you can take your loved one to your home for the holidays this can also be a welcome change of pace. Make sure that the Senior Community knows that your loved one is leaving the community for a while, so that they can prepare any medications that may need to be taken during the time away. When your loved one returns to the community, be sure to notify the staff that he or she has returned.
