“Since the 8th grade I wanted to be a nurse. Over the course of my career, I have been fortunate to work in diverse nursing positions, which allowed me to grow and develop my skills. When the time came that my parents could no longer care for themselves, I found that I had to also acquire advocacy skills while looking for resources to assist them. This experience, along with my nursing skills, led me to the nurse care manager role over 6 years ago and I have loved it ever since! “
