We help families navigate the complex senior care world to make well-informed decisions. Our team will help you and your family make the best choices while making the process as stress-free as possible.

Area of Expertise: Social Work, Nationally Certified Care Manager
As a Social Worker of 17 years working in Skilled Long Term Care, I have seen the stress and anxiety families face trying to find care for their loved one. I truly enjoy helping families connect to services that best support their loved ones care needs.
Choice Care Navigators allows me to follow my passion, as I help families navigate the resources that are available in the Triad area. I look forward to being able to reduce the stress the families and seniors are facing by looking at each person’s specific needs and how to best support their quality of life.
Vickie Woods, MS
Area of Expertise: Care Management
At the beginning of my career in the Human Services field, I started out assisting individuals with special needs and aging adults, realizing there was a lack of support in the aging community. This influenced my decision to obtain my Certified Nursing Assistant license and my Master’s Degree in Gerontology.
My goal as a Case Manager is to advocate and enhance the livelihood of the families we serve. With the knowledge I gained from my previous experiences and education, this allows me to create the best care plan for our families. I am proud to be a part of the Choice Care Navigators team.
Rachael Holden, MPH, CHES
Area of Expertise: Care Management, Marketing and Administrative Manager
I began my career in the medicare world and after 6 years decided to build on my experience working with older adults in a new capacity and step into care management. Being a care manager allows me to serve older adults in a deeper way. The healthcare and Medicare systems are complex and as a care manager I can guide my clients through these aspects of their life each and every day. Choice Care Navigators allows me to positively impact my client’s lives.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Gerontology from UNC Charlotte and then I went on to receive my Master’s degree from UNC Greensboro in Public Health with a focus in education and gerontology.
Mika Bishop, RN
Area of Expertise: Registered Nurse
As a nurse for 20 years, it’s been my passion to help people, especially older adults and their families. As my parents are also aging and need assistance with care, I can relate to families who are in similar situations. For that reason, building the relationship with the patients and their families, and supporting and advocating for optimal care is what makes my role fulfilling. I am excited to work with Care Navigators to help families and their loved ones by using my nursing and case management skills.

As a Recreation Therapist and Activities Director in senior care for 17 years, I have seen the enormous benefits of being active, engaged, and stimulated in all walks of life. I love being able to put a smile on someone’s face by engaging them in activities that they enjoy, find purposeful, and fun.
Choice Care Navigators and the Ignite! program allow me to follow my passion in recreation therapy to help increase the five domains of wellness: social, cognitive, physical, mental, and spiritual. A few examples include music, trivia, physical activities, cognitive games, and community activities. I look forward to working with you and your loved ones!
